During this holiday season, along with every other day of the year, I am thankful for my family. But when I say family, it means so many different groups...my immediate family, my extended family, my work family and my friends. Each group, which I consider family, support and love me. I'm so very thankful for each of them whom I have been blessed to have in my life.
I'm thankful for being able to spend every day surrounded by people I love - Bob & Mo and so many family and friends! My bucket is filled with amazing people!
Stacy, SEM Strategist:
I'm thankful for things that keep me warm. I'm thankful for my husband, family, & friends that warm my heart, and for space heaters, fleece blankets, & arm warmers that keep me toasty during the chilly weather.
Adam, Social Media Strategist:
Of course I'm thankful for my family & friends as we all are. But I'm also very thankful for my Bucket family & friends. Not having any family within a few hours of Columbia, I feel #blessed to be able to call anyone of my Bucket team members for help or advice on anything!
I'm thankful for a warm home filled with people I love. I'm also thankful for fudge rounds, they're really good.
Gabe, Director of Online Marketing:
I'm thankful for my dad's health as he's battled cancer this year and the amazing support system that my mother, family, friends and coworkers have provided.
Alyssa, Account Coordinator:
I am thankful for so much, but some things I am especially thankful for would be my friends & family, that I will be starting my LAST semester of college in January and that I will have a great full-time job at Bucket Media when I graduate in May!
Chris, Director of Business Development:
I am thankful for my family who keeps me busy, entertained, and loved; Bucket Media for giving me an opportunity to make a difference in my clients' worlds and
God for making it all matter.
Meagan, Strategic Initiatives Manager:
As a new mom I'm SO thankful to be blessed with the most amazing little girl, but I'm also thankful for coffee, grandparents and a helpful husband!
Erin, VP, Director of Operations:
I am beyond THANKFUL for each and every memory I have made over the years with all of my Family, Friends and Bucket Team...such amazing memories and good times with fellow Fun-Havers! I am also THANKFUL for the soon to be addition to my family...Puppy Love ahead in 2017!
Courtney, Graphic Designer:
2016 has been a CRAZY year, and I couldn’t be more thankful for every step in the journey, and those who helped me along the way. I graduated from college a year early, landed my first “big girl” job at Bucket, and moved into my first place off campus. I can not thank my parents and family enough for their constant support, my friends who helped me survive an extreme case of senioritis, and my awesome coworkers who make me love coming to work everyday. I can not wait to see what 2017 has in store!
Jessica, Creative Director:
This year, in particular, there is so much I am thankful for. There is nothing like having a wedding and having so many people come together to help make the day so special to help you realize how fortunate you are. Of course, I am thankful that I have an amazing HUSBAND who I get to enjoy adventures, coffee, art, and creativity with. But I am also thankful for our amazing family and friends who are such a big part of both our lives. And I am thankful to have such incredible coworkers who make you feel so included, so special, every day, but especially on your wedding day, when they all are there, to dance, laugh, and celebrate with you. 2016 has been a year filled with so many happy moments and wonderful people, I am just thankful for all of it!
Tom, Director of Business Development:
It’s easy to get bogged down in the minutiae of everyday life and forget to count our blessings. It’s equally easy to come up with the “standard” list of those things we ARE thankful for – especially this time of year. But if we can adopt an attitude of gratitude, we stop dreading Mondays, and are instead thankful we have a job; we stop bemoaning the dentist’s bill, and are grateful for our smile. We have so much more to be thankful for than we realize. I have a fantastic family, wonderful friends, and a job I look forward to doing (with the best co-workers imaginable) that gives me the ability to do what I enjoy doing – all the things that give our lives purpose. And for having a life of purpose, I am thankful.
Kori, Media Buyer:
I'm thankful for the typical stuff: family and friends, health, clean water, plenty of food and a roof over my head. But when I step a little closer to it, the things I appreciate include: Puppy breath and the scent of a newborn. Uber. The various people in my life who are always willing to drop what they're doing to help me out. Deep Eddy Grapefruit Vodka. The teachers and caregivers who are helping me raise three fantastic young boys. Sandy beaches in January. Having experienced loss at a young age (sounds weird, I know, but I think it gives me a perspective I wouldn't otherwise have). My gift of gab. Living in a country where, although maddening at times, people have the right to say and believe (mostly) what they want because others have and do sacrifice their own lives on a daily basis. Live music. And I'm thankful to be working for a wonderful company with supportive, appreciative, understanding bosses (and I'm not just saying that because it's a company blog!) and coworkers I truly enjoy seeing each and every day.
Ashley, Media Buyer:
I have a lot to be thankful for......I'll start with an opportunity that was offered to me just a little over nine years ago, a media buying position at Bucket Media. That opportunity birthed many blessings over the past several years for which I'm truly grateful and thankful.
Each morning (sometimes a few minutes later than I'd like to admit) I walk into an awesome work space to a career I genuinely love, full of my brilliant coworkers and leaders. I've made lifelong (I hope) friends...cancel that...I'm calling my Bucket peeps family because it's deeper than a friendship. We may bicker and disagree sometimes but in what healthy relationship does that not happen? NONE. They've been a support system to me through my toughest years of personal and professional growth. Soon I'll be celebrating the first anniversary of becoming a home owner. My daughter played a very active role while I searched for the perfect house to make a home. I felt so much happiness to see her excitement, she was so proud and I was proud. It wasn't the material house that made us excited and proud, it was the journey. We had come a long way, I had come a long way. I can't help but wonder if 12/11/15 (my closing date) would have been the same had I not said yes to Bucket. Most importantly, I started attending church again (thanks for the invite all those years ago - you know who you are) and my heart began to change and is still changing. His plan is always perfectly designed. I want to be better than I was yesterday, every day. For all of the above I'm thankful.
