Bucket Media, Inc. is a fast-growing, full-service marketing agency with offices in Columbia, MO, Des Moines, IA, and Kansas City, MO. We are a team constantly committed to delivering results-driven marketing services to clients. We are seeking an entry-level individual who is interested in gaining agency-wide media experience to join our Des Moines, IA team via an Integrated Media Buying Fellowship position. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, a passion for the marketing landscape, be well organized and detail oriented. We're looking for an innovative, data-obsessed, self- starter with excellent communication skills who enjoys laughter and having fun!

The Fellowship consists of working 30-32 hours per week which is paid on an hourly basis for the first six months. The goal of the program is to train, educate and prepare the candidate professionally with the intent of long-term, salaried employment. Full-time opportunity will be evaluated on performance, attitude, demonstration of proficiency and
the ability to learn quickly.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support and assist Media Director and other department teams as needed
    o Help coordinate, track projects and maintain deadlines
    o Request and negotiate rates with media outlets
    o Input and prepare media avails
    o Manage and distribute weekly traffic
    o Assist with make-goods and post-buy analysis
    o Support with invoicing and billing, including monthly reconciliations
    o Identify research as needed on a local, regional and national basis
    o Manage, monitor and prepare value-added reports
    o Assist with presentation development and client reporting

  • Aid others in the organization as needed across departments

Compensation, Hours, and Environment

  • Compensation: Hourly for six months. Salary thereafter, based on evaluation of performance, attitude, demonstration of proficiency and the ability to learn quickly.

  • Hours: Part-time (30+ hours/week) position with intent for full-time offer after six months. Flexible hours ranging from 30-32 hours per week. Monday-Thursday to start. Business hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
